Insurance and Hearing

Hearing aids and other listening devices are not covered under many insurance plans. Even if the hearing aids are not covered, many of these plans will cover hearing diagnostics and services. Yet rather than deal with insurance to cover those services, most providers bundle them into the price of their hearing aids.

We use an unbundled model to separate the costs of diagnostics and services from the cost of our hearing aids. We do this to be honest and transparent with our patients, to reduce out-of-pocket costs for our patients, and to ensure that our patients receive all of the services that they should. Our audiologists are contracted with several insurance companies and we will bill your insurance for those diagnostics and services when possible to reduce your out-of-pocket expense. If we are not currently contracted with your insurance company, please contact us – we will be happy to ask them about becoming providers. We are currently contracted with the following companies:

We accept Visa, Discover, American Express, and MasterCard. Other payment options include:

CareCredit: a healthcare financing credit card, providing 6- or 12-month no interest financing options for our patients. We have applications available in our office or you can apply online or by phone. Your eligibility is subject to a credit check.
